I will also say the 350z is a lot more bling. No one ever looks at me driving the S2000 because they are so common..........i always get looks and thumbs up driving the 350

All my cars stay in their own garage and I don't drive them that much. The supra has 350 miles on it all summer not all by personal choice though.

I just think if I could do it again, I'd get the 350 and not let the thought of vtec cloud my better judgement

350Z handles better than the S2000? That's not how I remember them from when I drove em, but okay.

The S2k, to me at least, feels much more connected to the road and like driving an actual sports car. It's got better steering feel with a quicker ratio, it's a lot lighter, has a better pedal setup (especially the brake feel when compared to non-Brembo Z cars), better shifter, is easier to rev match, better sight lines, and its suspension is far more sorted for twisty roads.

The Z feels somewhat like driving a sedan with not enough visibility. The dash and beltline are really high up and the windows are tiny. It's got a lot of grip but it's not really very involving to drive until you get way up to the upper handling limits. Just driving around town it's too relaxing to drive, too much like a regular car, for me. Of course the Z does have a way more flexible motor, but that's a given since it's got almost twice as much displacement. And yes, it does look pretty freakin mean and sound mean as hell too.

If I were to choose between the two I'd pick the S2k, but the 350Z is by no means a bad car. I just want something which always feels like you're driving a sports car, not something that is comfy.

I don't know about the 350z being comfy..........I drove it home from South Bend Indiana and got stuck on the Chicago Skyway during rush hour........my back and legs were killing me.......I don't think either of them are that comfortable. I also enjoy the torque of the Z........talk about getting into the upper limits.......my s2k doesn't feel like it makes any power until like 6000rpms........i will say that i like the way the s2k shifts and the way the clutch feels......i'd give the s2k the nod in terms of probably driving response.........but i still think the Z feels like it hangs in the corners better.......for example u are from madison so I am sure you are familiar with the beltline onramp right off of university.......that one that is a big circle. I can take that at about 65-70 in the Z and it doesn't even really feel like I'm pushing it that hard..........in the S2k i feel that about 60ish the car is starting to reach its limits.......in the supra i can take it at about 40 cause otherwise i lose traction and go sideways

here is the Z i have been driving all week...........

I'll try to get some video up of it but it sounds absolutely insane! above 4k rpm it really does start to sort of sound like a ferrari.......makes all sorts of noise the ricer in me loves that part

Driving a car on the street and "feeling its limit" is not the same as a track. S2k>z
