I hear you guys, and you both have good points, but IMHO, it's a topic that stretches beyond the bound of solely the Integra model. :dunno:
The techniques really don't differ that much between the specific FWD platorms..h: I moved it here for greater exposure and to keep the discussion in one thread.

I hope I didn't come across as overly critical, folks. h: Ball-busting was certainly not my intent. :happysad:
what if she needed specific shift points, which would only be integra related.

Sometimes I use the sides of my feet instead of heel-toe.

The funny thing is, when reading the heel toe explanation, I actually tried it here. Don't see how it'd work for me...maybe side of the foot :dunno:

I would not downshift from 5th to 2nd.... at least not regularly to stop, that's what brakes are for...

Clutch foot is bad... if I need to slow suddenly from 5th at speed I use my brakes. Otherwise I distance judge and downshift through the gears.

I know I don't know a whole hell of a lot about cars and such, but it just makes more sense to do the latter. When he told me he threw it into 2nd from 5th, I went :eh: because it just seems like you would ruin your transmission that way.
