worst phone bill ever
So back in January my mom switched our plans to include the state college area, so when i came here, we wouldn't get hit with roaming charges. Well, they never changed our plan apparantly. I get a phone call today from AT&T asking for my mom, and then asked me if i could speak for her, and since i wasn't sure i said no. I asked what it was about, and she wouldn't tell me, since she was just the operator. I called my mom to tell her before class, and when i got out an hour and a half later my mom called me back. The bill was $1700, and when my mom tried to explain that they were supposed to change the plan, they didn't listen. AT&T won't drop it, so my mom has to take it up with some other people. This was my only phone (no phone in the apt), so thats why it was so high. I feel so bad, my mom started crying on the phone but i couldn't stay on and comfort her. This is just one more thing she has to deal with (there's some other crap she's trying to deal with at home). On top of this, my mom was an employee for 18 years for AT&T.
cliffs notes: at&t are money grubbing whores. sorry i just needed to vent.

Yeah, they screwed up my cell plan when they bought a provider I had, CellularOne. The switch-over of the Cell1 clients got all f*ckered up, so I went to Verizon since my contract was up. Contract is coming up soon and I ran into some sales guys for Cingular, and it seems AT&T is buying them too. They have some marginally better plans than the one I have now, but I'm not to confident in their reliability.
That's why i left AT&T you realize that reports show that AT&T has the most complaints among all cell phone providers, Which to Nextel no BS great service, and they are great at customer service always there to help
