some people say up... which causes blood to go down throat...

some people say down... which causes gravity to pull blood out....

take one of those jet lighters....line it up with the offending nostril....light....cauterizes it in seconds.

For the longest time, I always tilted up/back...and it always worked, but took awhile. Last year my roommate told me to try tilting down, so I did, and it bled out a LOT faster...so for me tilting down works best.

ive never had a nose bleed, but I always see people stuff their noses with cotton balls :dunno:

people usually tilt up. i never had a nosebleed either so :dunno:

Tilt down man. Pinch nose right above the nostril and tilt down. That's what they taught me in the Red Cross course.
