ahahahha. I've had road rash like that on my knee. I was wearing shorts like the dumbass I am and riding my mountain bike, my right foot slipped and my knee hit the ground and my nuts almost hit the frame, my knee dragged against the pavement for a couple of inches opening it up and I ended up getting some gravel in there. To say the least that shit hurt like hell and damn it burned.
