I say it over and over again, wear leathers. If you aren't going to wear full leathers (and I realize, it's not realistic to say you are going to wear a full leather everytime you get on the bike) at least wear a textile jacket or a leather jacket, boots, gloves, and helmet, with some jeans.
Had she, she'd have like almost no scraping if any; and I bet those things are going to scar terribly.
