an amd processor is also more fragile, at least up until recently. i've read about many a busted one either due to an overheat, or simply from mounting the cooling fan, whereas intel takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. :thumbup:

regardless, i like the competition. it forces intel to more reasonably price their stuff.

I'm still waiting on the price of the legendary PIII 1ghz to come down more. Facker is still expensive.
