I took my OEM accord/special edition badges off with Lestoil after heating it up with a hair dryer.
Be careful with that heat gun, chank, i don't know where you read that they were safe to use around cars like that, but especially around paint/bumper, they heat up way too much

, not my first time :exnbp:.I have 3M adhesive remover to get off the gunk, it works better than anything I've came across.
