I was able to run for 20 mins today!!! :awais:
I've never been able to run that long since "the accident." Even when I was in therapy I could only run about 4 minutes before the pain came in, but I've since stopped therapy and just trained my legs twice a week. I'm still in the process of just rebuilding lost muscle and not really aiming for swollness, but this is really a huge improvement.
At around the 15-minute mark I felt some slight pain behind my knee and I was like "F*ck you, you're not the boss of me!"
And eventually the pain went away. If it weren't for the 20-minute limit at the gym I could've ran more!
HOLLA

Hey Dom, if you want to build up strength in your knee, try biking and/or swimming. Running puts a lot of stress on the knees...lots of runners have knee problems.

It's just that the pool near me is always full of kids :ugh:
And the pool at the gym has too much chlorine :eek3:
edit: I'm thinking about biking though.
