decisions
So here's the deal: my d15z1 is about to blow up... theres a local guy selling a b18c in need of a rebuild (I was planning on rebuilding anyway since I'm gonna make a beast out of it) for $1000. So I was planning on buying that and building it over the winter, buying a d16z6 to make the car run for now.
But I just found out theres some guy who wants to sell me his '92 legacy 2.2 turbo for $600. He's in las vegas. If I were to buy that car, it would eliminate the need to get an interim motor (d16z6), and thus save me ~$500-700. I could drive the subaru around over winter while I built the b18c. Plus, my car has no back seats (or any interior to speak of, really) and isn't really the safest winter car... the suby would make a good snowboarding car.
The only problem is if I buy the subaru, I wont quite be able to afford the b18c. That motor is a pretty good deal, so I'm kinda iffy on passing it up.. but then again motors pop up all the time if you look hard enough.
I know its my own decision to make, but feel free to chime in.

I dunno, the subaru thing is really starting to make more sense to me. I just don't want to have a lot of down time while I try and make my hatch not suck... and I'm starting to think thats not really possible without another car. =/
GET THE SUBARU! I have a Jeep Cherokee, and I'm so glad I paid the 2400 for it. When my Integra is down for repairs and whatnot, the Jeep has kept me from relying on unreliable people to get around.
depending on how confident I am in the subaru's reliability after owning it for a while, I might be able to go back to delivering pizzas too... that job totally fvcked my civic, but I don't really care if I mess up a beater suby.
