insurance will actually be almost the exact same as my hatch, so I can switch the insurance over to the subaru for the winter without paying a cent. Taxes on a $600 car will be like $35... and Boulder is the the subaru mecca of the planet, so parts are both abundant and cheap.

I dunno, the subaru thing is really starting to make more sense to me. I just don't want to have a lot of down time while I try and make my hatch not suck... and I'm starting to think thats not really possible without another car. =/
