Default Workout Squad. Arm workouts...

So in the past two weeks I've been lifting weights, I'm just trying to get my arms bigger and I haven't really noticed much right now. I've been lifting weights for 2 weeks straight. I first started at 20 pounds where you stand and curl your arm back. I can probably do about 2-3 sets of those before I get tired. Then I'll lay on my back and I can push up to 50-60 pounds and doing about 2-3 sets of those before I get tired. I don't want to lift to heavy at the moment, I don't want to strain anything. My question is, in order to gain more muscle in my arms what else I should do? I've also been doing lots and lots of push ups. Any suggestions? Thanks.

preachers curls, and use the cable machine. use 2cables at the same time, and have your arms parallel to the ground and then go into a flex position. also you can do hammer curls. its almost like regular curls but the end on dumbell nevers turns when you curl. the dumbell rest at your side and you never twist to bring the weight up.

at the end of each set, you should be struggling with the last 2-3 reps. EVERY TIME. If you're doing 3 sets, and only struggling on the last set, you aren't lifting enough.

1. bench press = "lay on my back and push up" = chest muscles
2. "where you stand and curl your arm back" = should be "one knee on bench with elbow to side and move arm back" = tricep workouts

1. =/= 2.

i suggest you learn what excersizes focus on which muscle group and then do that.
