Our Flip-Flopping President

I can see why the military guys on this board love Bush so much...

“Having been here and seeing the care that these troops get is comforting for me and Laura. We are -- should and must provide the best care for anybody who is willing to put their life in harm's way.” – Bush, 1/17/03
Bush's visit came on the same day that the Administration announced it is immediately cutting off access to its health care system approximately 164,000 veterans [W. Post, 1/17/03].

Thats a great quote.
Obviously there are times that war becomes unavoidable. Stopping genocide and imperialism is in everybody's best interest. Its frustrating, though, that sometimes humanitarian interests take a backseat to... anything. For example, if the war in Iraq had been presented to me on the basis of liberating a repressed people, I would likely have supported some sort of military intervention, preferably via a UN force.

Either way, I'm going to continue talking smack about Bush until I'm done. Engage me in debate or go away.
