i am lactose intolerant. drinking a cup of milk won't cause bad side effects. the problem comes when I eat too much dairy and lactose. but I get my calcium through other foods like broccoli, chinese cabbage, oysters, salmon, sardines, and tofu.
and yes farting and bad breath is a bad side effect of lactose intolerance
