Good luck Puffy. I feel your pain. In NY the prices are the same. My best friend and his wife bought one two years ago for $300,000. Now ones in their complex are going for $400,000 and are sold in like a week. It's nuts.

The new Brownstone townhouses down the road from me are selling between $1.9-3 million :eek3:. All but 2 units were sold before construction was completed. Having money must be nice :happysad:

Definitely check our your HOA dues and the HOA's financial stability. Mine have gone up twice in the year and a half I have lived there and now pay $300/mo on top of my mortgage.

300 for HOA dues is nothing. The places I look at have them at 350-400.
