Congrats homeski11et. I'm looking at buying a townhouse next year when my lease is up. I don't like the fact of having to pay outrageous condo fees around here so thats why I'll be looking for a townhome. Whats the sqft? How many bedrooms?

I owned two waterfront townhomes in Texas, sold one and now have a rental. It is sort of like lining in an apartment, neighbors are close, but you don't have to mow the yard, so what the heck. Good starter home, just find out what the homeowner's dues are, and get a copy of the rules before you buy

I wish homes were as cheap in CA as they are in TX. I am looking at 350-400k townhomes and these are in the ghetto!
