Mr. @#$$
Center Manager

20 Waterview Blvd.
YU&*%$, NJ 05241

Dear Jim,

This letter is to officially tender my resignation from A@#$ effective August 18, 2004.

I did not anticipate leaving A2#$s so soon, but a more favorable and convenient opportunity arose and I chose to take advantage of it.

The past 9 months I’ve spent with Ar$%^s have been wonderful and I can only say good things about the people that make up this great company, from the Pa#H$%#@y team to all the AE’s and the entire support staff. You have been an excellent manager to work for as well as a great friend and I appreciate all the professional and personal advice you have given me over the few years I have known you. I truly believe that you will take this company to new levels with the dedication and professionalism that you have. Thank you again for everything.

Sincerely,

A@#o y^&&

Good letter, a bit long, but good. The one I turned in at Allstated was just a handwritten sentence stating that I tendered my resignation effective such and such date. :dunno:

great news. my current job is gonna give me a couple K's more than the offer i got. my boss was so "distraught" about the fact that i was leaving that he got on the phone with HR right away and petitioned to increase my current salary by 23.5%. :yay: he went on and on how valuable i was to the company, the future i could have with them, blah, blah, blah. i told that the offer sounds great and that i'm thinking of definitely staying. let the bidding war begin. :rick:
