If it's reoccuring(<-- is that spelt right? eh..) then you should make a little calendar of it, knowing how much is going to come out of each paycheck for that bill(s) and how much you have to put into savings.

Basically, I just pay what I have to while everything else stays in my savings account, kind of nice having online banking. I just keep everything in my savings account and when I have to pay a bill, I transfer the funds to my checking account then use my Check Card to pay that bill either on the phone or on the internet.

That way, I don't spend what I don't have to. It's also nice, because before I go out I will limit myself to the amount of money I can use (by transfering to checking) since the card only takes out of the checking account. (

I never had any extra money for saving and shit..everytime I got my pay check I alwasy have to spend it all....coz the god damh cell phone, DSL, car payment comes in the same f***ing time...

 

put every penny i make into my bank, spend as little as possible on "fun" things, and pay bills and such out of there. i'm only 19 so it's working fine so far..

Honestly I've found the best way to SAVE money and prevent myself from spending it is to hide it from myself.

Unfortunatly I have ADD.... so after I hide it, I can forget completely about it within like .5 seconds. Not even remember I put it away for like 6 months... then all of a sudden remember I put $20 rolled up on the top of a door jam or something. BAM, instant money.

I must have like $150 worth stashed around that I have no idea where or how much it is. Hey, it keeps me from spending it untill I really really need it.
