Any hackers on HAN?

Check out Yet Another Payphone List. Its a payphone documentation project, some photos. Apparantly it was a lot bigger until the guy's database server crashed a week ago.

I wouldn't call it hacking or phreaking... it's just a strange obsession to make a list of payphones. :screwy:

Well... when you can dial into a payphone there's some interesting information you can get out of it. Check out this short video:

www.bellsmind.net is the l33t3st phreakers site on the web. They scan batches of phone numbers and catalogue whats on the other end. I think the goal is to map out the telephone network and see how its built and what it can do.

 

 

Wtf, i had no idea you could get this kind of information just from dialing in.

Exactly the reason poor Kevin Mitnick was put in prison and treated like he tried to blow up the whole USA.

Such a smart guy, held back because some people with authority don't understand what he's so smart about.
