See a doctor, could be something pretty serious.

It's funny I came across this thread.
I just found out that the cause of all my headaches might be coming from a disease I have called "Chronic Mastoids Disease".
I did a cat scan and the doctors called me back and said I have to get it checked immediately.

does mastoids have something to do with ear infections? I never have ear infections. Just sometimes I get sharp pains on the side and back of my head. they'd last for a few seconds and go away.

Yes and no. I can't remember ever getting an ear infection. The last one was a long time ago. But the CT scan revealed that I have the disease. All the while I thought it was something wrong with my head, not anything sinus related.
I barely catch colds/ infections so I don't know how this happened.
My suggestion is ..go to an Ear/Eyes/Nose doctor and tell him whats happening. Then he'll know wether to refer you to a Neurologist.
