Credit question

There are plenty of online websites that you can check your credit score on. Just don't check your score too much, or it will affect your overall score.

Any late payments count against you and stay on your record for 10 years, even if "they're only a few days late."
Depending on how many late payments you have, I'd guess your credit score is somwhere in the range of 670 to 690.

Get a cc MPerson. Just always pay it on time. Start building your credit early. Just don't mess it up like I have. I'm only 20 and I'm already trying to rebuild my credit rating. That's what I get for getting my first card at 16 and also for trusting my parents with using my card and paying it off. I had never had a late payment until I let them start paying it. Then it lapsed three months twice in one year. But yea, get a cc and just buy one thing a month and pay it off on time. You'll be happy you did it when you go to get a loan for a house in ten years.
