How come some pictures look choppy in Firefox, but they look smooth in IE?

When the mouse cursor changes to a magnifying glass when you hover it over the image, that means it has been resized. Just left-click.

Tools > Options > Advanced > click Multimedia Tab > Deselect "Resize large images to fit in browser window"

The only standard about IE are its security vulnerabilities.
