Do you not have any friends around that area who have apartments or houses you can do it at?

There are a million excuses for not wanting to do something....I am sure you could find a way to do it if you really wanted to.

You have a scissor jack that comes with the car...borrow a friends driveway...borrow some tools from a friend.

problem solved for 1/4 the cost if not less.

Use your spare jack and go into a big empty parking lot. Jeez if somebody comes by just say you're changing your wheel or something.

Why will you have to get the rotors turned?

Are they that worn or is it just something you do every time you change pads?

If it is just something you have done every time you change pads then you are throwing money away hand over fist....you can run through about 2-3 sets of pads before turning them becomes an issue. If not then you have bigger problems than your brake pads
