Remove:
all the sound deadening in the cab
Cut all uneccesary metal out of the doors
Dash
rear and front passenger seat
Trunk liner
Spare tire
Fender liners
Headliner
headlights (tape over open sockets to keep air flow)
Tape all body lines with blue tape
Airbags
Seatbelts (keep drivers or change it with harness)
Cut rear deck out or remove all excess metal in it

Thats about all I can think of now even though I know there is more.

umm no. it's so much more than that. but he is on the right track if he wants the car to understeer less, then less weight in the front will help.

fwd cars understeer since it has the majority of weight up front, less weight up front=less understeer...

Notice all RWD cars are 55/45 weight or even 50/50? A Civic is like 65/35 or my car is 60/40.

More weight over the front wheels in a FWD car makes it push more. Cause the tires can only handle so much weight before they just "Give up". What you want to do is put more weight in the rear of a FWD car to help "balance" the car better.
