CD-R help!!

CD-R help!!
ok so I havent been working all this week because my supervisor/boss baught a bunch of shiet to become a dj, so he cut a deal with me he told me if I stay home and burn him as much cd's as I can for the week that he will right me down as if ive been working, ok so ive been slacking it and ive burned like 11 cd's and thought I could catch up later, so later is here and im trying to burn and for some mothafukkin reason im not able to burn anymore cd's 
wned: i dont know if their the CD-R's that I bought or my computer but somethings wrong!! ive done a system restore thinking i might have messed something up and it still wont let me burn 
what the computer does is: I select the files and click on COPY and it starts to copy and it tells me something like 9 mins remaining and when the nine minutes are up it gives me a message saying it couldnt copy the files onto the recordable disc!! :WTF: help me if fukkin pissed

I think I found the culprit, I just popped in another CD-R (the regular memorex) and it recorded it fine, so looks like im gonna have to make another long ass drive to Wal-Mart
