Spanky have you looked into stubbier tires? Seems to me the ones you have would kinda hinder your off road adventures. Just my humble opinion though. Btw is the clearance enough or do you bottom out a lot? When I took our old Civic through the dirt roads and trails I bottomed out in a few places.

you mean as a daily driver and a grocery getter?

because it wasn't meant for off road or even dirt road excursions.

The WRX was rally bred, its meant to be taken onto trails. But, thats just my humble opinion.

sean give me a break.

wrx has a similar body style to the rally car. it no where near a rally bred.

by that logic all MB cars should be F1 cars.

it is not meant to be taken on to trails. that's for cars like outback wagon and such, which by the way has better clearance. WRX is a street car.

h: Its still fun to try though, its got a bit of heritage but just enough to deem some visits to the trails.

so the hood scoop, top mount, all wheel drive system etc etc are useful for driving to and from the grocery store?

by the same token a civic should be able to do the same things.
