If a car has ABS than excellent, if not it wouldn't stop me from buying it though.

My Scion has ABS standard, I have yet to have it come on so far. I'm sure it will come in handy in snow or anything. I see no reason to dislike ABS, it will save your ass sometimes.

Because it has a hydrolic actuator that pumps the pedal 15 times a second. It will feel exactly like it would if you were able to pump that pedal 15 times.

Don't care--I can drive a car fine either way. Just takes a few minutes for me to get used to the car in the winter and I'm fine. Otherwise, my car doesn't have it and I have never skidded--not that I'm a fantastic driver, I just do drive like shit.

Actually, in snow, you're going to love it. I love driving the Focus in the snow. Very easy to handle. Really don't have to think about it, just lightly press the brakes and if you start to slide a little it tries to take care or it, better then you could on your own.

Driven and owned cars that had it and didn't have it, prefer to have it because of the safety feeling.

My Civic in snow/ice was the scariest thing in the world to drive in snow with kumhos. Down a big ass hill hit the brakes and wheels lock up instantly. I had to use snow banks to slow me down.

sounds like fun :chuckles: I plowed my uncle's 88 Corolla into snowbanks a few times for the hell of it when I lost control in corners.

I don't have ABS but I have yet to experience my car in the snow, but I don't plan on using summer tires either.

What I really hate is brake fade, my car does it too much.

My Scion has all seasons stock that are probably ok in the snow. However last year I got blizzaks for my Civic which were AWESOME in the snow. So I think I'm going to see if the 13''s from the Civic fit on my Scion, they might be too small the clear the front brakes, but I'm not sure. If not I will sell them and get new Blizzaks for the Scion.
