Don't get anything new fancy shmancy no one really cares what you ride as long as you ride. But if I had to do it all over I'd get a used R6 or GSXR600. Lot's of ppl crash so there's plenty of good parts off other bikes :exnbp:

Thanks ladies and gents for the advice, there are a lot of lady riders out there and I give much respect to them, this one chick that I know is hardcore about riding. She loves it and she owns a 600 rr honda cbr. The bike is bad ass and she told me that as a beginner that it would be ok to get a bike like that because it's not too too powerful for my size. I'm only about 5'7 and a half and 185 pounds so I'm not to heavy. I think I'm going to take lessons over at college of alameda because they have a riding course that beginners can take. And I think you can after you complete the course you can go to the dmv and they'll issue you a licensce... Any more pics and websites of riding would be great, I'm really getting into it now.

Get something used, because you WILL put it down at least a few times if its your 1st bike.

Whoa 600rr for a beginner's bike? :eek3: Not a good idea, imo. That's like giving an e46 m3 to a kid who just got his driver's license. It's all about baby steps.

i went to the freddie spencer racing scholl in las vegas a few months ago. they use honda 600rr only. i ride a 2003 honda 954rr & found the 600rr a much more managible ride. you don't have to be as precise w/ throttle & the bike tosses in curves alot easier. i have considered getting rid of mine & going to a 600.

Something reasonable that's fun, I'll upgrade later once I get more experience down on riding.

Oh here's a site my co-worker/friend told me to go to that has some pics of her and her friends that have bikes. (She's the third one on the upper left side, with the really red makeup, she's really hot in person. Too bad she has a boyfriend. Oh well can't have'em all.
