How much do you weigh? What kind of riding do your friends do?

My friend is in the area with his Gixxer 600 and his Ninja 250. I'll see if I can ride either or both of them (if I can fight off this damn cold ) sometime in the future for impression's sake.

Yeah! I ride an SV650. 0 - 60 in like 4 seconds! I love my bike almost as much as I love :gorgeous: ......

Get an insurance quote before you buy a bike. I learned my lesson the hard way.

Same here...I want this baby right here ..I really want to start out with a used bike and nothing above 600 b/c I dont want to kill myself..plus I don't weigh that much and this bike should mos def be fast enough

Did you actually pick up a 600RR and then couldn't afford insurance?

One of the other nice things about starting small is that insurance is cheaper. After a year of riding many insurance companies will drop your rates a bit too. Good luck.

silvercivicgrl, of all the 600's, the gixxer is arguably the most potent but it's your choice. :happysad:

I know, my friends have all told me that as well. But everything else I look at I don't really like as much. I'll just have to see what happens when next year rolls around....

GIXXER is way to potent for a beginner bike.
