Good choice. If I got another dog it would be a German Shepard again. They are one of the most loyal, protective dogs, and you can teach them almost anything.

yes. By buying the dog you're supporting the pet shop and basically telling them you think its ok to house animals in unsafe/hazardous conditions. By giving them your money, they'll have the ability to bring in 2 more dogs and allow them into the same bad conditions, just waiting for some poor sap to have the philosophy that you've got. It's much better to buy from either a shelter or from private breeders.
