How important is the design and layout of the front page to you folks?

I like the "new" design talked about and demonstrated during the last conference. :rick: Maybe be sneak peek would be a good idea?

I think the content is more interesting. A good layout is wasted on content that isn't very interesting. Maybe more then one thing on the front page would be good. "sections" perhaps, for various things. Motorsport, technical, car care, members rides?

I use the word Modules. That's definitely we are getting into with the upcoming redesign.

I'd be willing to write detailing product reviews every few weeks. Consumer level products (maybe a few professional products likely to be found in some auto stores). And general auto care (proper washing/polishing/wax application. How to clay bar). Whatever--and I'd be willing to take input for other people for upcoming things. With pictures. For example: Janna had a bottle of Swirl Mark Remover that she said didn't work, and with my advice, she used it, came back online, and told me it worked well. So, let me know.

judging from responses in this thread...you probably should do something that would attract more people there in the first place.

and from the looks of it...a few people come to HAN for the members, then the content. how about doing some more members oriented stuff in the front page.
