To be honest a woman in the workplace should make equal money for equal jobs. I do not see colleges offering lower tuitions for female enrolees nor do I see them asking for less work or a less strict grading curve based on sex.
To turn around and pay them less in the workplace is basically saying that out of all that crap they taught you women are only retaining half as much as men do.
In essence I would assume you could argue a case in the supreme court regarding this issue because it is equivelent to sexual discrimination on a national level.

Women, anyway you look at it in business terms are more of a liability than men.
Pregnancy and PMS are the 2 main reasons business thinks that way. If I am a business and I hire a man, I don't have to worry about him getting pregnant and taking 6months off and all the hassle of trying to find someone to replace him for temporary and then I better hope that he doesn't get PMS (which is perfectly natural) and go off on customers cause he's having mood swings.
Yea, men have down sides. But being in a business world and talking to business execs they would rather take a slightly less capably man than a more capable woman, and they site those 2 reasons every time.
There's plenty of women that can do a better job than me, do a better job than me, or have higher posisitions than me and that doesn't bother me. I like working with women, they are usually more happy and more carefree to work with. But when it comes to getting down to business and getting work done, 7 times out of 10 a man can do it better and more efficently. It's statistical. It's not all the time, there's plenty of times a women can do great. And more power to those that can!
