rabbit, squirrel, chipmunk or anything else that would most likely not to the car or me much, if any, harm i would most likely drive over it

tire bouncing it's merry way at me, that is something i would most definitly be in the 90% category and swerve to try and avoid too

sorry about the car man, but happy your father's ok, that's the important thing after all

I was talking about a squirrel someone else mentioned.

And whats TTOY?
unless they swapped the wheels, that's not a GS-R.

and my guess is TTOY is just a play on Audi TT + toy..

Concrete slab = instant death. Swerve = good chance at like.

for small animals the correct thing is to hit them at most brake (if going in a straight line). which is the example I was giving.

also i know how to handle a car. I have pretty good experience in car control and know what to do given just about any situation. I'm not talking about driving in a public road for x number of years.

As for your example of a concrete slab, if it was big enough then I would be able to brake and stop in time. I maintain a safe distance and an escape route whenever I drive. Even if I had to swerve I would be able to maintain control and it would not be done blindly.

What I said still stands.

Relax Mike, you are dealing with some people who think they can save the world just like those guys did in movies and be able to drive their car beyond their human reflex possible and not fear against great evil and will fight them courageously and therefore save the world from an icestorm.

Get real people. Real life situation: If someone throw a punch at you, will you blink and try to avoid it? Just give it a try, never mind the dang tires or squirels or rabbits. Ask your little sister and throw a punch at you (OR a fake punch, just ask her to stop within inch of your eyelashes), and see if you can take it head on without blinking or moving your body a bit and maintain "your lane." If you can, then come and talk about how Mike's dad's reflex.
If you can't, well, eat your words.
