Quote: Try to keep a balance. 1 in 1 out. 2 in 2 out.

If going for diffrent size fans, look for the CFM rating and make the total of all intake fans as equal to the total for all output fans.

Too much CFM out and you'll be creating a vaccum inside and it will pull air through cracks, holes, and other openenings where you don't want it to come from.

Feel the flow Happy. It's all about the air flow.
Actually, if you want to keep the inside dust free, it's good to have imbalance, either way.. So yea, more in than out pushes dust out.

I used to do that too! But things got complicated with all the dust and etc inside.

Fan Filters: http://www.1coolpc.com/filter.htm

Great place to buy from. Burt Lane is the owner and he's great with the customer service and responds quickly. I've purchased over $250 worth of stuff from him.

I have em on some of my fans. They really do help. But the dust does go somewhere.... meaning you do have to clean em (least in my place I do) every other month or more if the windows are open.

But the insides are a ton cleaner. Definatly recommend the kits or a simple homemade one.

better outside than in

specially when its covered with dust

Those look a little restrictive... You can use pantyhose or wire mesh also filter well

I also used these 'tea-bag' like material that Chinese use to make soup with...

I might get these http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...999-214&depa=0
