my old job was pissing me off, fine dining restaurant/Inn. so i got a new one today. it's at a car dealership, but a separate detailing company at the dealer. just prepping new cars, taking the plastic and stuff off. i've never worked by commission before, so we'll see how this goes. $6-8 per car that i fix up. he said it's always busy so i guess if i can get a fair amount of cars done that will be pretty good pay.

 

Congrats. Do you get paid on rainy days however or do they have you doing something else?

 

i have absolutely no clue. the guy was like "yeah i'm new at this too, i just started here not too long ago" all i'm thinking is.. and they have you interviewing already? we'll see, i just wanted to get out of the restaurant/hospitality business for a while, maybe i'll go back to it when i go back to school

EDIT: point of this post. the guy couldn't/didn't give me any useful info except that i start monday at 9am.
