question about turbo
i see it sometimes on computer cases near the power button
what does it mean?

On the fly speed upgrade. Some of the older 4MHz machines had a turbo button that upped it to 6MHz.

i had a pentium 1 that had a "turbo" button..and when i pressed it, the display went from "LO" to "HI" :chuckles:

my AT had a turbo button...went from 8mHz to 16mHz. it came in handy for older games which were designed for slower systems.
