Amp: Forte Model 1A pure class A 50W per channel @ 8 ohms, benched at 67W without clipping, 4ohms benched at 128W per channel, stable into 1 ohm loads. This amp is a space heater when idling as it draws 600W.

Preamp: Forte Model 2 class A

Speakers: Mission Argonauts, 2 7"woofers in D'Applito array with Dhorm Tweeter Biwired, also capable of being Bi Amplified.

Turntable: Acoustic Research "The AR Turntable" with Sumiko Tonearm and Sumiko Bluepoint Special high output Moving Coil Cartridge.

CD Player: American Acoustic Labs

Tuner: Sansui TU 217

Wires: StraightWire Maestroes, Speaker Wires are a 10' BiWired pair. (probably a couple thousand in wires total) And yes it does make a difference.

I just dropped a couple bills on a receiver, cd player, floorstanding speakers and a sub:
Yamaha HTR-5790 980 watt 7.1ch

Sony RCD-W500C 5-Disc Dual-Deck CD Changer/CD-R/RW Recorder with Super Bit Mapping

JBL Northridge E100 3-Way Dual 10" Floorstanding Speakers

JBL E250PCH Northridge E Series 12" 250W Front-Firing Powered Subwoofer

not really setup for home theater yet...until i get my 50" samsung dlp

working at best buy part time has its benefits
