you can buy some of the RCA jacks taht go into the ipod, and then hook it up to the imput in your deck. Or you can get a new deck that is i pod ready and hook it up so u can control the ipod with ur deck face. not sure i know alpine just released a deck like that but it might be pricy.

Isn't there a kit where you could listen to your iPod using the car's stereo? I guess you could use that and just get a cell phone holder and have that hold your iPod.

i dont have an iPod but i do have a 20 gig mp3 player for the car. no i do not have it mounted because its just too much of a hassle and im afraid to get jacked. i just throw it on the passenger seat or the arm rest and then hide it under the seat when i park.

there are 3 ways to use it in the car: rca jacks, fm transmitter, cassette adapter. i use the cassette adapter since i only have a tape deck :happysad:

belkin makes an iPod holder that fits right in the cupholder spot.
as for the connection, you can choose to go with an FM transmitter or a cassette adapter. ive heard from some people however that the quality of sound when going through the cassette adapter isnt as clear though... Griffin/Belkin/Dr.Bott all make stuff for the iPod to hook up to your car's stereo.
