Well, I've managed to keep myself under pretty good control in the week or so since I last posted. I drank a few times, but didn't get *drunk* once, even volunteered to be DD twice! :yay: If I can keep up at this rate, I should be OK... My goal for this week is to do the same, maybe even cut back more if I can. I haven't seen anyone or gotten help, I'll see how this "on my own" thing pans out this time, and if I screw up I'll definitely get help. I hope it sticks this time :happysad:

hey! me too, for instance, last night me and my buddies went to this bar. normally i would start doing shots, drinking more beer; but instead, i drank two pints, smoked 2 cigs , then drove to a diner to eat some breakfast.

It's a difficult thing to beat, but it's well worth it. I'm going on 3 months without a drink. I slipped up over spring break and had a few beers after about 5 or 6 months of no alcohol. It's a bit easier this time around though because my girlfriend and I are both quitting so we can be there and support each other.

yeah, I've started smoking a little more too I'm not really much of a smoker though, so hopefully thats no biggie.
