i wouldn't say its alcoholism because i'm not drinking by myself or everyday, its just that when i do drink, i lose self-control and will keep drinking and drinking until i'm just about drunk. its not good, imo.

I've had problems with alcohol for about five years... I'd say I've been a full-blown alcoholic for maybe 2.5 yrs... Its hard to say, it just kinda got worse over time.

Sounds like your doing your best to lick this addiction. I commend you for that. Its very interesting to see how quickly our bodies can become addicted to a substance or anything for that matter. Although why pick up smoking?
