again that all starts with parenting. many kids today are spoiled brats, due parents giving them everything they want when they are little. when the kid cries it's give them what they want to shut them up. i do think TV/ Movies do tend to send the wrong message sometimes to kids, but it's still a parents job to set the kid straight. your right the whole not spanking your kid thing when they are bad i think is part of the problem too.

And how did the mom decide that a long purple dress with a scoop neck looks like a shorter pink dress with a crossover neckline? The only similarity I see is that they are both too tight and sleeveless.
Regulate? yea of course, we dont want them going into drugs etc... but c'mon, a dress? Thats way too overboard.

Parenting I think is a learned process, my parents tell me the stories when they became parents for the first time when my brother was born. They pampered him a lot and they literally had to drive for miles and miles because the only way he fell asleep was in a moving car. So when I was born they decided to do things right based on their first time experiences. I threw a crying fit and they decided that the only way to do it was to let me cry. I cried for 3 days and then quit crying because I realized that wanting attention wasn't getting me any. Were they bad parents? Hell no they did a darned fine job raising my brother and me.

Yea, America. Where you can have a catholic school. Where they are allowed to make their own rules. Where the rule is you follow the rules or leave. They made a rule, she didn't follow it, so she has to leave... at least for that day.

very true, and in this case the mother bought the dress. I don't think the dress was that bad but it did go against the written rules. That being said the mother was wrong.

Kids may have that attitude but parents do have the power. How is the kid gonna pay for the clothes? How is the kid gonna pay for a lawyer to take legal action on something as stupid as their parents not buying them slutty clothes?

Yeah that dress was not similar at all. Totally different neckline.

It was the rule. She broke it. End of story. Though looking your comment in the thread about cops you have no sense of rules and laws

Just because its a rule doesnt mean its correct. But whatever, its her mom's problem for putting the kid in that school.

Whats with you e-thugs with blinders on that cant see that sometimes rules are stupid and pointless? They are going to make it (maybe already is) a law where if you wear baggy pants you get a $175 ticket. Its a rule! so it must be good right? Okay... but whatever... to each his own.
