Parenting I think is a learned process, my parents tell me the stories when they became parents for the first time when my brother was born. They pampered him a lot and they literally had to drive for miles and miles because the only way he fell asleep was in a moving car. So when I was born they decided to do things right based on their first time experiences. I threw a crying fit and they decided that the only way to do it was to let me cry. I cried for 3 days and then quit crying because I realized that wanting attention wasn't getting me any. Were they bad parents? Hell no they did a darned fine job raising my brother and me.
