The reason I said capital punishment was to take my point to the extreme. Usually people who are against physically disciplining their children are against the death penalty. I was simply making a point that I'm not quite the type of person that he might have thought that I am.

I blame the media again and again and again. Its the Britney Spears and Christina Augileras that are the ones that screwed the kids up. Teens idolize them and when they prance around half naked what do you expect them to do. They aren't getting censored because they are eye candy and the old farts need to look at something like that lest they forget what beauty is by looking at their naked wives. When I was a kid I listened to political bands like Megadeth, Slayer, etc and most of them got slapped with a Parental advisory sticker because they dared to raise questions like "why are we spending more money on war than educating our kids" or a guy singing about how his mom tried to abort him and failed (a true story - Bruce Dickinson singer of Iron Maiden wouldn't have been here if his mom successfully managed to abort him). Its ok for young children to be exposed to free sexuality, but God forbid they decide to follow suit they get slapped on the wrist. Isn't that a double standard of sorts? You allow people to prance around on tv and in the movies half naked and they are barely legal and yet you throw a fit when your kid follows suit. Do you really expect your kid to do anything else when their idols keep harping about how cool it is to be dressed like a whore and act like one.

Until the NSyncs and Britney Spears finally melt because of all the plastic implants this will go on and on. If I ever have kids they are going to listen to what I listened to as a kid and watch what I watched a kid because I don't want my 13 year old daughter running around naked screwing every guy she sees or my son coming home telling me he got a girl pregnant or shot somebody. Screw the bleeding heart conservative parents who think children shouldn't listen to political music, my parents didn't stop me and I turned out just fine and I sure as hell don't dare to pull some of the stunts my peers do.

although i feel people like britney and how about that 17yr old lindsey lohan are part of the problem, however someone has to buy a 13yr old girl her clothes. responsibilty relies with the parents, but i do feel that underage celebs should dress more apporiate for their fan base.

Sadly todays parents have no say in what their kids can and can't do. Most kids will force their parents to do something or threaten them with legal action. Back when I was a kid if I dared do something wrong I was reprimanded and I took it like a man because I knew I had screwed up. Today kids think they are right and everyone else is wrong.

The point is that she is not an adult and it's the parent's responsibility to regulate what she wears. 26 was a random number chosen to convey "adult", not a psycho need to control his child well into functioning adulthood. So :slap: right back at ya.

And how did the mom decide that a long purple dress with a scoop neck looks like a shorter pink dress with a crossover neckline? The only similarity I see is that they are both too tight and sleeveless.
