Oh man, the 4-cyl has no balls whatsoever. My brother has a '99 with the 150hp 4-cyl. I had to drive that thing to Arizona and I had the pedal on the floor and it could barely sustain 85mph just to keep up with the rest of the pack.

I'd say M Coupe or even a E36 M3. I'm surprised they can be had pretty cheap.

You could always go with the 3400 V6 Tacoma. Or perhaps a V6 Tundra, but I imagine with it's weight it'd be like driving the 4-cyl. Tacomas. :loco:

No car payments will be very cool and you can pay your bank account the car payment and that money will add up fast.
yeah...plus they're cheap. i dont mind a small car payment, like under $250. that's why i'm leaning toward the honda or tacoma. a used bimmer would be nice, but then it would negate the whole purpose of saving cash.

When I did finally decide to buy, I made offers on 7 different places and each week the comparable houses I looked at were asking $5k-$10k more that what another house sold for the previous week (Alameda sucks for that, but my property value has gone up since I bought it). That's gets hard to catch up to.

Besides, nothing says big pimpin more than owning your own place. You'll own many cars in your lifetime, but keep your eye on what really matters.
the beater is too much of a beater for daily use it's one of those "ha ha ha what a piece of shit cars" that are fun for the first 10 minutes.

i totally understand what you mean about owning your own place. to me, that speaks volumes instead of a pretty car

i checked the prices of used tacomas again, and the 6 cylinders arent much more expensive. besides, i want the TRD package :chuckles:

i dont know if it was a sign or what, but i followed a estoril blue M coupe to work today :loco: i havent seen one for like six months!
