Emailing resume to folks?

A lot of company's dont take attachments too.

In that case, I write the cover letter and then on the next paragraph I create a text-created email with my resume in it.

i could be a bit off topic, but:

i've heard some companies take resumes e-mailed to them and put them in a database.

so when a job comes up they simply go into the database and search for key words related to the job, and it gives them resumes related to that field.

i've heard of some people putting a bunch of key words into the resume, and making them white, so they are invisible, but still indexed by the database, so their resume gets hits.

i dunno. just though i'd add something

Yeah, you should always format your e-mail like a business cover letter.

Heck, I'm pretty formal in my informal e-mail. I dislike getting poorly-formatted stuff in my inbox, even if it's from someone I know very well.
