The only thing odd about Ford was his name and the fact that he never blinked. Also getting him drunk wasn't a good idea because he would keep hitting on women and telling them he was from a galaxy very far away and also messing with the cops and asking them for directions.

 

I always kinda interpreted his character as an odd fellow that most everyone liked, and kinda wrote off his bizarre behavior as just his character.

Regardless, last time I was in England, there was a fair amount of not white people, including a decent amount of black people... It's not like an asian in the midwest or something...
