Yeah, his toy car is an Audi TT Roadster. He actually did nick it up a few years ago in the parking garage at his office but that was his own fault. Brought it to a body shop I had heard good things about and it's been good as new since.

Bah, the 911 has the engine in the wrong place compared to the Boxster.

Go to any PCA autocross and the 911 guys always complain how the course is a "914 course" or a "Boxster course."

My dad swapped cars with his friend, we got a 2.7L Boxster for the weekend. I loved the gearchange, and the exhaust note was intoxicating(seriously, I downloaded it off Kazaa and put it on my MD player), and it handled nicely, but I felt I really had to wring it out to get the power that the BMW 530i which I normally drive has. The car is a pimp machine and all, but Id go Boxster S or go home if it was me.

Then again id prob. buy an Air-cooled 993, or my neighbors 930 Turbo.

 

A course that is configured such that it favors the ideal weight balance of mid-engined cars such as the 914 and Boxster over the 911 trying to drag its motor around in its ass.
