I think we may need to re-strategize a bit. h: The problem I'm runnning into w/ Speedring is that they're smack dab in the middle of downtown Santa Clara.

Knowing how meet convoys tend to work, it'll take a goddamned miracle to not lose people on the drive to a decent park. There's one park out by NAS Moffett and another one slighly east of that, neither of which sound particularly scenic. (although I could be wrong.) The truly scenic locations that appeal to me are on the east side of the Santa Clara Valley, i.e. Mt. Hamilton State Park...which is roughly 20 miles east of Speedring... :eek3: It takes a lot of effort to herd a dozen cars that distance...h:

I'm open to suggestions.... and I'll be back in this afternoon to discuss in more detail.

 

you shouldnt worry about losing people. the way you have to do it is to break down the group into smaller groups. maybe cars of 3-4...each headed by someone who knows where they are going. then before leaving, we run through the directions with everyone. i like the mt hamilton idea...and 20 miles is fine for a short lil drive.
