I think the next step is taking care of SpeedRing, and thereby committing ourselves to a time-slot...

rich, are you willing to put your card down for the gokarting? if not, we can always call in and reserve ourselves for the same heat. but i do know that speedring offer group discounts (4 or more).

normally i wouldnt mind putting my card down, but this feels sort of "shaky" with people unsure if they're going or not :happysad:

 

maybe we should just reserve our own spaces then? or if we can get a group of 100%ers...and see if we can take advantage of the group discount.

 

the 23rd event im going to at Sears is open to the public to spectate. Spoon Sports and JDM Theory is also throwing a show event too. ...if you guys are interested.

There used to be, IIRC.

In terms of the bigger picture ...with downtown Sonoma only a few miles further north from Infineon, there are a myriad number of affordable restaurants that would be capable of handling a group our size. h:

Plus throw into this some of the finest driver's roads on the planet.

If - as rich noted - people are reticent to commit on SpeedRing, I'm open to this alternative.

 

Also, here is Infineon's policy on BBQ's. They must be propane-fueled. No Wood. No Charcoal. Maybe we can make this work?
