I really suck at programming, I'm in a first level course for visual basic, which IMO is moving too fast. I have this three part program due tuesday, I've been working on it all day, and the only progress I have is copied then modified code. I'm so far behind, I have the written final in a week (ever take a written final for a programming class? not fun)

So instead of being pissy and unable to code, I'm now depressed an unable to code - as I seek guildance from a rum and coke

dude, I just failed my VB.NET programming midterm on thursday. I'm in the same boat as you.

 

well i'm not retarded drunk yet... but i'm a lil drunk - enough to impair any ability to code that I might have had. I find myself looking at the same section of code several times trying to figure out what i does - it takes a couple of minutes before i remember.

but regardless, same thing would happen if I was sober.

Ha ha, program while drunk, that will help! I was helping a guy a while back when I was in school and I was looking at a program and though "what the hell is this guy doing" then realized it was my own program I was looking at (I gave it to him for reference). Be happy your not doing assembly programming. I had to write a simulated network in VAX assmebly one time and it came out to some 80 odd pages of code, was over an inch thick printed. Damn thing never did work and my teacher couldn't figure out why either so he gave me a B on it.

 

3 weeks ago if you posted your problem on here, i would have given you the code..

but now that im done school.. i have no urge to do anything else..

(i have this thing with doing other peoples work if i have to do mine)
